First Interactive Robot 'Girlfriend' Invented in China

The University of Science and Technology, China, has unveiled its first attractive and interactive robot - which can chat with humans and also take orders from iCloud.

The incredibly life-like robot named Jia Jia was recently showed off and took three years to build.

She can hold conversations with humans and also responds to devices being pushed close to her face, as during the unveiling, a member of the media held a camera close to her face and she said, "The photo taken from that angle will make my face look bigger".
When the researcher says "hello" to the robot, she replies: "Yes, my lord, what can I do for you."
Also, when asked to "please wave your hand" she did just that, much to the astonishment of those watching. Her developers say she is programmed to match human facial expressions, body and mouth movements. She can be controlled using cloud technology and can position herself independently.
The University stated that her facial expressions are limited and they could not create more due to insufficient materials.
China has always been known for innovative creations and ideas and I can't wait to see what the future holds. Already, 90% of humans have been replaced by robots in the Chinese factories, so we can assume that in the years to come, the competition between humans and robots would be more pronounced.
