An Israeli man, named David Shoshan woke up one day and made a decision to sue God, filing a restraining order against Him in a court in Haifa, Israel.
According to him, God had been interfering in a negative way in his life within the past three years. The court confirmed that God was not present at the court and neither did He provide an attorney in his stead, stating that He probably watched from Heaven.
Mr Shoshan complained to the court that he had tried to get a restraining order against God from the local police for the past three years, but only received 10 police calls and a few squad car visits to his home.
The judge who sat on the case, Ahsan Canaan, threw out Shoshan's request, calling it absurd and he suggested that Mr Shoshan get help from someone else, besides the Law enforcement.
According to Mr Shoshan, the law enforcement authorities did not react to his complaint against God intensely.
Obviously, we all have what we call our "Issue" with God, but it is not everyday someone gets up and decides to charge God to court. Just as the Judge said, Mr Shoshan requires help higher that the law enforcement authorities can provide and that is spiritual and psychiatric help.
