Around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, there was a shooting in a gay club in Orlando, Florida, where 50 people are reported to be dead. The gunman, Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old man is said to have called the police during the attack and pledged alliance to ISIS. This is said to be the deadliest mass shooting in the United states.

Mateen is said to have gone into the club around 2 a.m. with a rifle an a pistol. As the club was packed, he kept firing and killed 50 people and wounding at least 53. After about three hours of a standoff between the police and Mateen, the police was able to get into the building and killed Mateen on the spot.
People all over the world have condemned the mass killing, with President Obama calling it 'An act of hate' and the former president of Nigerian, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, sent a condolence message through his facebook page, condemning the act.
However, popular Nigerian musician, Olamide on his Twitter page, joked about the shooting and was blasted by former Super Falcon's player, Chichi Igbo as being insensitive.
