
Apparently, Linda took this seriously and went to file a case with the police. She later took to her blog to explain why she had to report the case. She shared that she reported the case to the police, so as to speak up against violence and threats of violence to women, also, to encourage women who may find themselves in a similar situation to react. She also mentioned that her action would discourage other young men from assaulting or threatening to assault a woman.

Wizkid followers did not agree with her view, as they took to social media to blast Linda on her action.

Most of them also mentioned that the blogger had equally threatened him, by mentioning his endorsement and have the opinion that she is acting the part of a woman activist.
Also, Toni Payne, the ex-wife of 9ice, has called Linda a hypocrite and has called on every celebrity she has ever written an unconfirmed story on to sue her for doing so.
