Quest For Happiness: Part Eleven

Anne and Ebuka had a small but beautiful wedding ceremony, with only close family and friends in attendance. After making her mind about the marriage, Anne informed her son of the marriage through a skype call and when he heard all the details of the wedding, he was not happy.
Most especially after the second call, when he learnt that the groom in question was close to his age. With as little words as possible, he told her to follow what she felt was right, but she could sense the disapproval in his voice.
Well, now she was proudly Mrs Mary-Anne Ofor and she could not be any happier. Before the wedding, she met with Ebuka's parents and close relatives. Though his father was reserved and she sensed he did not fully approve, his wife was more receptive. Ebuka happened to be their second son and the second to the last born of his parents.
Things were going well, with their marriage feeling like a success and her business was also booming. Even the investments she made with Ebuka's firm was growing well. All in all, she couldn't be any happier, or could she?
