Quest For Happiness: Part Twelve

Anne loved every moment of being Ebuka's wife. He loved her so much and never seized to show it when they were alone, though when they went out, they were more reserved. She had been focusing a lot of attention to her catering establishment and ensuring things went as smooth as possible and Rose had been doing a good job so far. She made mistakes once in a while and some times she was a bit saucy but after a while, usually when Ebuka was around, she would be more relaxed.
When Rose was around, it was usually like Ebuka was trying to divide his time between them and he was usually distracted. She had questioned him about it once and he blamed it on stress from work.
They had also discussed opening a joint account with Ebuka managing it and even starting new investments. She was not so open to the idea but did not completely object when he made the suggestion. She had always been independent and could not really see herself sharing that particular privilege with someone else. She supposed that there was always room for change and the whole point of marriage was to do things as one and with one mind. However, she thought to herself that even if she went ahead with the joint account, she would not put all her eggs in one basket.
